Dr. Nancy Morris, ACVIM Cardiology
Dr. Nancy Morris received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology in 1985 where she graduated Magna Cum laude. The American Society of Clinical Pathologists certified her as a Medical Technologist (MT). She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 1990 from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Morris spent the next year at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital interning in small animal medicine and surgery. The next 7 years were spent in private practice.

In 1997, Dr. Morris returned to Angell and completed her residency in cardiology and she is a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in Cardiology.

She has also been active in cardiovascular research. In 2004 she completed a multi-center FDA/CVM clinical trial for a new Phosphododiesterase III inhibitor drug (Pimobendan) to treat congestive heart failure in dogs. She has served as a consultant to biotech, medical device manufactures and pharmaceutical development companies. Her most recent clinical research, prospective screening of 200 Doberman Pinschers to determine the clinical utility of the NT-pro BNP test as a screening tool to detect occult dilated cardiomyopathy, was presented at the 2009 conference of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Montreal, Canada.


Karen Hastings,CVT Practice Manager

Karen grew up in Westfield, MA. She attended the veterinary technician program at Holyoke Community College and has an Associates Degree in Arts & Science. She has worked as a veterinary technician for 29 years. Through the years, she has worked in general practices and has a special interest in dentistry and surgery. She has recently been a volunteer with New England Aquarium in their Sea Turtle Emergency Rescue program. Karen joined our practice in March of 2017. She shares her home with her husband, 4 children, 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 parrot and a bearded dragon. In her free time she enjoys going to her kids sports events, spending time with family, walking the dog, gardening and going to the beach. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends.

Dana Kedziora, Veterinary Technician

Dana grew up in Philadelphia,PA. In 2002, she moved to Maine to begin her college career at Unity College and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Wildlife and Zoology. In 2010, she went to graduate school in Keene,NH and received her master's degree in Conservation Biology. From 2006-2012 she's worked in general practices in PA, Maine and Massachusetts. In 2012, she felt like she needed a change and transitioned to emergency medicine. Dana joined our practice in May of 2017. Outside of work she likes to read, kayak,travel and she volunteers at the Three County Fairgrounds and a local wildlife rehabilitator. She has a cat named Pants.

Mira the Border Terrier joined Dr. Morris' household in November of 2013. She is very sweet, but a bit shy, and spends her days at the reception desk.
